Some recent news has come to the fore that at COMPUTEX 2025 – MSI has unveiled two new 27-inch gaming monitors – MPG271QR QD-OLED X50 and MAG 272QP QD-OLED X50. The focus of these monitors is on the display, so this display uses Samsung’s third-generation QD-OLED panel, which is brighter and more durable than before and can provide perfect visuals in terms of color. Aiming at games, the resolution is kept the same between the two models, these models have WQHD (2560×1440) resolution which provides clear and detailed visuals to the users during gaming.

The most notable thing about these monitors from MSI is that they feature a 500Hz refresh rate with a response time of just 0.03 milliseconds, which makes gaming smoother and offers users a real-time response experience. MSI’s two models will be launched in different segments, with the MPG model being a bit more premium and the MAG model being relatively tablet-friendly, but both are ideal for high-end gamers.
MSI GAMING MONITOR HIGHLIGHT FEATURES:
MSI MPG 271QR QD-OLED X50 MONITOR:
MPG 271QR QD-OLED X50 This monitor has an advanced AI Care sensor that can detect user presence along with two new sensors that use a CMOS sensor and NPU based chip. A special feature of this monitor is that it takes pictures every 0.2 seconds to understand if there is anyone in front of the monitor. The reason for taking pictures every few minutes by the monitor is that if there is no one in front of the monitor, the monitor automatically turns off or activates a safety feature to protect the OLED panel to reduce screen burn-in and save power.

These monitors also have MSI’s own AI Navigator through which all AI settings can be controlled from a single menu. For these features, users can easily turn on and off the Skin Care and Power Saving options within these monitors. These technologies work together to protect the health of the monitor and reduce power consumption, making this monitor a smarter and more economical monitor for the user.
These monitors use VESA ClearMR 21000 and DisplayHDR True Black 500 certified high-quality displays, due to which these monitors are capable of presenting very clear and vivid images. Its WQHD resolution provides almost twice the pixel density of a typical Full HD display, resulting in sharper and more detailed visuals from these monitors. These monitors can offer true blacks with powerful calculations and smooth motion handling, making them ideal for fast-paced games such as fast percent shooters and racing games. This monitor is a perfect blend of performance and visual experience for gamers.
